Entrepreneur who survived cancer in business…

As a cancer survivor myself, I’d be more than happy to provide you with any support needed, whilst you are going through a similar experience to me.

During my journey to ‘beating cancer‘, I self-published my book under my pen-name of Adrian Russell. I like to share my story in this way, with the hope that it may inspire you…to give you the internal strength and belief that’s needed to fight cancer…

My novel ‘Nothing Left But Fear‘ is now sold around the world on Amazon, Create Space and other similar platforms. Strangely enough, the original concept behind this now fiction thriller, was a business idea. But as I developed the idea and the story behind it, the now current fictional story, came to life.

Fighting battles on two fronts is extremely tough…

At the same time as being diagnosed as having cancer, I was also fighting a ‘battle’ within my multi-million pound business too (another story in itself). Having to to face a personal ‘battle for survival‘ at the same time was tough…which do you choose…personal survival or survival of your business?

I know what it’s like to be told those words ‘you have cancer‘…the ‘C-Word‘…

So if you are going through a similar serious health experience yourself, I know how lonely that can be. It’s not only a ‘lonely at the top‘ experience from an entrepreneur and a business owner’s perspective, but it also becomes a ‘scary’, lonely-at-the-top experience too. Fortunately for me, I had my lovely wife to support me throughout this difficult time, but that’s not to say I found it easy…as I didn’t.

Without pushing yourself and without trying something new, you’ll never learn and never grow as a person. But by doing so, there’s always the risk of making a mistake (or two) along the way. The key thing that I’ve discovered, and especially from going through cancer, is to absolutely enjoy what you are doing…life is way too short not to.
